Abstract

Calculations of projections of elastic displacements generated in a half-space of a solid conducting ferromagnetic body owing to the electromagnetic and magnetic transformation mechanisms are presented for arbitrary values of macroscopic parameters and the quasi-stationary radiation frequency. It has been shown on the basis of calculation data that the magnetic mechanism is efficient only for magnetic materials with a low conductivity. The formulas derived are used to analyze the acoustic field of attachable transmitters that are either symmetric or shifted with respect to the maximum of the polarizing field.
