Preparation of Multicomponent Volatile Organic Standards Using Static Dilution Bottles

Abstract

Abstract A static dilution bottle was designed to prepare multi-component volatile organic standards. Different concentrations of these standards may be obtained by using different sized bottles, by adjusting the component amounts introduced into the bottle, or by varying the amount of vapor removed by gas-tight syringes for injection into an analytical instrument or into a solid adsorbent sample collection cartridge.
