Abstract (Pb1−xGdx) (Zr.6Ti.4)O3 was prepared using the solid solution technique with different Gadolinium ratios (x=0. 0 & 0. 5); variation of Dielectric constant of the pellets prepared from these powders was studied as a function of temperature and frequency. The results on piezo- and pyro-electric coefficients, after suitable corona poling, are encouraging. The X-ray diffraction patterns were studied and the results are included in the paper.
