Mitotic Activity of Keratinocytes in Nifedipine‐ and Immunosuppressive Medication‐Induced Gingival Overgrowth

Abstract

The results suggest that the increased epithelial thickness observed in nifedipine- and cyclosporin A-induced gingival overgrowth is associated with increased mitotic activity, especially in the oral epithelium.
