On may's host parasitoid model

Abstract

We investigate the behaviour of solutions of the system where α and β are positive numbers and the initial conditions X0 and Y0 are arbitary positive numbers. When α ∊ (1, ∞) and β ∊ (0, ∞) this system is a special case of May's host parasitoid model.
