A mainly new method of interconnecting elements of a differential analyser was recently described by Amble (regenerative connexions). In this paper a constructive technique is developed for obtaining the results arrived at by Amble from analytical considerations. On the basis of this new technique, not only are Amble's results systematized and unified, but extensions are developed whereby the possibility of applying regenerative interconnexions to any differential analyser problem may be investigated. Apart from Amble's results, examples are given of: (i) the generation of the integral of a quotient; (ii) the solution of differential equations in which the highest order derivative is associated with a non-constant coefficient; (iii) the inversion of functions defined by a differential equation.
