Solvent-free heterogeneous catalysis for cyanosilylation in a modified sodalite-type Cu(<scp>ii</scp>)-MOF

Abstract

Modified sodalite-type Cu–BTT MOF is an active solvent-free heterogeneous catalyst for cyanosilylation. The catalyst loading is only one eleventh of that for related Mn–BTT but conversion of benzaldehyde is 96%. These properties make the modified MOF an ideal green catalyst.
