Silica gel-Supported Palladium Catalyst for the Acyl Sonogashira Reaction

Abstract

Due to the bifunctionalitiyand broad applicability of ynones an efficient, mild andgood heterogeneous catalyst for their preparation is highlydesirable. The most straightforward method for the prep-aration of ynones utilizes palladium catalyst for the cou-pling of terminal alkynes with an acid chloride. In thiscase, variety of homogeneous catalysts has been employed.
