Potential benefits of Anaesthesia Information Management Systems for multicentre data evaluation: risk calculation of inotropic support in patients undergoing cardiac surgery

Abstract

We could demonstrate that multicentre data analysis in anaesthesia using AIM systems can be carried out successfully. Once the methods of data extraction and analysis are established they can be transferred to data pools of different centres without requiring additional time, personnel and material resources.
