Pharmacokinetics of remifentanil in conscious cats and cats anesthetized with isoflurane

Abstract

The disposition of remifentanil in cats was characterized by a high clearance. Isoflurane anesthesia significantly decreased the volume of the central compartment, likely by decreasing blood flow to vessel-rich organs.
