Seroprevalence and molecular diagnosis of Toxoplasma gondii infection among blood donors in southern Iran

Abstract

Our results highlighted that asymptomatic blood donors, especially those with active parasitemia, may constitute a significant risk of transmitting toxoplasmosis to susceptible recipients.
