Complication rates in patients using absorbable collagen sponges in third molar extraction sockets: a retrospective study

Abstract

Compared to previous studies, this study showed a relatively low incidence of complications. The use of type-I collagen sponges is recommended for the prevention of complications after third molar extraction.
