Easy preparation of an MRI contrast agent with high longitudinal relaxivity based on gadolinium ions-loaded graphene oxide

Abstract

A facile synthetic strategy, which leads to a high-performance Gd³⁺-based MRI contrast agent (Gd³⁺@CGO), is developed using graphene oxide as a nanocarrier.
