Dosimetric characterization of the iBEAM evo carbon fiber couch for radiotherapy

Abstract

These results demonstrate that the presence of the iBEAM evo carbon fiber couch increases the surface dose and dose in the build up region. The inclusion of the couch in the planning scan is limited by the field of view employed and the couch height at the time of CT scanning.
