Longevity of silicone and polyurethane catheters in long‐term enteral feeding via percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy

Abstract

Polyurethane PEG catheters seem to be more resistant to deterioration than silicone PEG catheters, and at present they should be preferred for long-term enteral feeding via PEG.
