Diffuse Pulmonary Extramedullary Hematopoiesis in a Patient with Myelofibrosis

Abstract

We report a case of extramedullary hematopoiesis that occurred in a patient with idiopathic myelofibrosis, that diffusely involved the lung parenchyma and small pulmonary vessels, and that likely directly contributed to this patient's death.
