Enhanced ultrasound‐induced apoptosis and cell lysis by a hypotonic medium

Abstract

The results support the hypothesis that non-lethal hypotonia can enhance ultrasound-induced cell killing. These findings also suggest the 'sonomechanical' nature of the effects on the cells.
