Single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) bundles have been dispersed by an electrolysis method. Intercalation of bundles by NO 3 – widens locally the inter‐tube spacing. Bundles are nanodispersed into individual nanotubes after deintercalation (see Figure). This method could be used to fabricate electrodes for high‐capacity batteries and supercapacitors.
