Effect of Order on Residual Resistivity of Cu-Au Alloys above the Critical Temperature

Abstract

We develop a pseudopotential theory of the residual resistivity of binary alloys as a function of short-range order. We apply our formulation to copper-gold alloys and compare our results with experimental data and with related theoretical studies.
