Activation of the specific neurotrophin receptors TrkA, TrkB and TrkC influences the function of eosinophils

Abstract

Eosinophils express the functionally active receptors TrkA, TrkB and TrkC. Receptor activation stimulates eosinophils. This might be an additional pathway regulating inflammatory responses in allergic reactions.
