Cytokeratin 7: a useful adjunct in the diagnosis of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma

Abstract

Immunohistochemical staining for cytokeratin 7 appears to be a useful adjunct in the diagnosis of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, and in distinguishing this tumour from both oncocytoma and conventional renal cell carcinoma.
