Neutrinoless double-beta decay of the kaon in a relativistic quark model

The rate of the decay ${K}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ is computed in a relativistic quark model for the mesons. This double-beta decay is assumed to be induced by a light Majorana neutrino mass ${m}_{\ensuremath{\nu}}$. The rate for this mode is 7 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}19}$${\mathrm{sec}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$, for ${m}_{\ensuremath{\nu}}\ensuremath{\sim}1$ keV.
