Zum chemischen Transport und zur Kristallstruktur von Seltenerdarsenaten(V)

Abstract

Abstract Chemical Vapour Transport and Crystal Structure of Rare‐Earth Arsenates(V) Crystals of a series of rare‐earth arsenates(V) RE AsO 4 ( RE = Sc, Y, La–Nd, Sm–Lu) and mixed crystals of selected composition were obtained by endothermic chemical transport with TeCl 4 as a transport medium. The gaseous phase of the transport reaction has been studied using mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of LaAsO 4 and NdAsO 4 (space group: P 2 1 / n (No. 14); Pearson symbol: mP 24) as well as of HoAsO 4 and ScAsO 4 (space group: I 4 1 / amd (No. 141); Pearson symbol: tI 24) were refined from single crystal X‐ray diffraction data.
