Abstract

Incubation together in Krebs solution of skin grafts from two different inbred strains of mice caused syngeneic grafts to behave as allo-geneic grails. Sensitization was produced by transplanting syngeneic skin which had previously been incubated with allogeneic skin. Injection of recipient mice with the medium in which allogeneic skin had been incubated also sensitized recipient mice. No prolongation of homograft, survival was achieved by incubating the grafts with skin from the recipient.
