General Practitioners and Alcohol Use Disorders: Quantity Without Quality

These results underline the diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties experienced by general practitioners. This study has led to the establishment of a pilot health care network for patients suffering from alcohol use disorders. This network involves voluntary doctors who have been trained and are better paid for their services. Care protocols have been established to which these practitioners have to adhere.
