A new time-correlation method of measuring nonlinearities using pseudorandom sequences is presented. The method relies on the properties of pseudorandom sequences to display nonlinearities as echoes of the main response. The size and position of these echoes correspond to the amount and the type of nonlinear effect present in the system, respectively. The accuracy of the time-correlation method was verified in simulation using Lorentzian waveforms, and with real systems. The measurement accuracy is compared to other more complex methods. The time-correlation method can be implemented with analog or digital circuits, enabling the real-time measurement of nonlinear distortions.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
