The application of time-lapse electrical tomography in groundwater studies

Abstract

Recently, various techniques of electrical tomography have been refined and fast, efficient commercial systems are now available. New inversion algorithms produce electrical images that more accurately model a two-dimensional or three-dimensional subsurface than ever before. Over the past three years, electrical tomography surveys in Germany, the U.K., and the U.S. have produced remarkable results.
