Abstract

Patients with CTEPH and evidence of chronic PE in the central or segmental pulmonary arteries have a better clinical outcome after pulmonary thromboendarterectomy than patients without these findings. The presence of mosaic perfusion pattern is not helpful in predicting postoperative outcome.
