Abstract

Systemic gene transfer of delta-SG by the AAV serotype 8 vector could effectively ameliorate cardiac and skeletal muscle pathology, profoundly improve cardiac and whole-body functions, and significantly prolong the lifespan of the treated TO-2 hamsters.
