Abstract It was found that Ni-on-MgO-CaO containing catalyst showed excellent activity and stability for reducing CO2 by CH4 to make syngas. Especially higher CaO containing catalyst showed more excellent stability even under conditions such as, 850 °C, 0.32 MPa and CO2/CH4 = 1/1 (mole ratio).
