ABSTRACT The long‐term results of conservative management in 68 immature dogs with clinical and radiographic evidence of hip dysplasia are described. Seventy‐six per cent of the dogs had minimal gait abnormalities despite radiological evidence of moderate or severe osteoarthrosis.
