CC‐Streckfrequenzen und δ³¹P‐Werte der Phosphane P(CCC₆H₅)_n (C₆H₅)_3−n

Abstract

CC Stretching Frequencies and δ 31 P Values of the Phosphanes P(CcC 6 H 5 ) n (C 6 H 5 ) 3‐n The vC  C frequencies and the chemical shifts δ 31 P of the title compounds are reported and discussed. The δ 31 P values depend on the number n of the phenylethenyl groups (n=3,2,1,0) according to the equation δ 31 P=−(27.60 · n + 5.72). The shielding of the phosphorus by the C  C moieties may be caused by an inductive effect of the C sp atoms of the P  C sp bonds.
