The elastic scattering of 41.5-MeV electrons was measured at \ensuremath{\sim}180\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} where the charge scattering is very small so magnetic scattering stands out more clearly. Measurements were made for $_{1}\mathrm{H}^{1}$, $_{1}\mathrm{D}^{2}$, $_{2}\mathrm{He}^{4}$, $_{3}\mathrm{Li}^{6}$, $_{3}\mathrm{Li}^{7}$, $_{4}\mathrm{Be}^{9}$, $_{5}\mathrm{B}^{10}$, $_{5}\mathrm{B}^{11}$, $_{6}\mathrm{C}^{12}$, $_{7}\mathrm{N}^{14}$, $_{8}\mathrm{O}^{16}$, $_{9}\mathrm{F}^{19}$, $_{10}\mathrm{Ne}^{20}$, $_{11}\mathrm{Na}^{23}$, $_{12}\mathrm{Mg}$, $_{13}\mathrm{Al}^{27}$, $_{15}\mathrm{P}^{31}$, $_{18}\mathrm{Ar}^{40}$, $_{19}\mathrm{K}^{39}$, and $_{20}\mathrm{Ca}^{40}$. It is shown that the results are consistent with calculations based on scattering by the magnetic moment of the nuclei involved.
