The synthesis of thymidylyl-(5′→ 3′)-thymidylyl-(5′→ 3′)-thymidine 5′-phosphate using an insoluble polystyrene support is described. The first nucleotide is attached to the polymer by a phosphoramidate linkage which is cleaved by mild acid treatment to release the product.
