Abstract

Abstract Anthglutin, a new γ-glutamylphenylhydrazine and an inhibitor of γ-glutamyl transpeptidase, has been isolated from the cultured medium of Penicillium oxalicum. Spectral studies indicate that it has the structure of 1-γ-l-glutamyl-2-(2-carboxyphenyl)hydrazine.
