Prevalence and clinical features of colonic diverticulosis in a Middle Eastern population

Abstract

Colonic-diverticulosis was found to have a low prevalence, be predominantly left-sided and associated with adenomatous-polyps. Age, hypertension and rectal bleeding predict the presence of diverticular disease.
