Abstract

The association of primary lymphedema with pleural effusions and yellowish discoloration of the nails has been well documented, mainly in the British literature. Five additional cases, with various combinations of primary lymphedema, yellow nails, and pleural effusions, indicate that a common etiologic relationship is likely.
