In this article, we highlight key features of Multisystemic Therapy (MST) and of the supervisory, consultation, and program practices that support therapist implementation of MST in community-based settings. The article begins with a summary of the theoretical and empirical foundations of MST and of evidence supporting the effectiveness of the model. The remaining sections of the manuscript focus on therapist implementation of the model, supervisory practices, the use of consultation, and program (e.g., organizational, interorganizational) practices.
