Abstract Reactions of 3,5‐diaminopyrazoles with chalcones and ethyl α‐acetylcinnamates lead to new polyfunctional derivatives of pyrazolo[1,5‐α]pyrimidine. The structures of the products and the mechanisms of their formation are reported.
