Determination of Metal Extraction Process Parameters Using Tracer Technique)

Abstract

Liquid-liquid-extraction is an effective separation and concentration process for metal ions in aqueous solution. The paper shows the experimental technique of extraction experiments, especially the automatical measurement of process parameters. The use of radioactive tracers during these investigations allows to obtain basic information about the influence of numerous factors in an extraction system. Examples are discussed.
