The activation energy and activation volume for the creep of high-purity lead were obtained by the method of rapidly varying the temperature and pressure. The activation energy was found to be 1.18±0.03 ev and the activation volume was found to be (24.2±0.6)×10−24 cc or 0.80 atomic volume.
