The Uhuru satellite catalog lists 339 X‑ray sources with measured positions and intensities, encompassing binary stellar systems, supernova remnants, Seyfert galaxies, galaxy clusters, and possibly superclusters. Optical and radio counterparts are suggested based on positional coincidence. The catalog shows good agreement with the 3U and 2A catalogs. Published in The Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series (Dec 1978), DOI 10.1086/190561, the catalog is indexed under X‑rays: sources and is available via ADS, SIMBAD, NED, and CDS.

Forman, W. ; Jones, C. ; Cominsky, L. ; Julien, P. ; Murray, S. ; Peters, G. ; Tananbaum, H. ; Giacconi, R. Abstract Positions and intensities are presented for 339 X-ray sources observed by the Uhuru (SAS A) X-ray satellite observatory. We find good agreement between the sources in this catalog and those in the 3U and 2A catalogs. Optical and radio counterparts are suggested based on positional coincidence. The major classes of identified objects include binary stellar systems, supernova remnants, Seyfert galaxies, clusters of galaxies, and possibly the new class of superclusters of galaxies.
