Magnetic and other Properties of some Binary Palladium Alloys

Abstract

The magnetic susceptibilities, electrical resistivities and lattice parameters of a range of binary alloys of palladium containing up to 20 at.% of vanadium, niobium, tantalum, zirconium or molybdenum have been measured and the results are compared with the predictions of a simple band model.
