The Extended Bond Graph Notation

Abstract

The extended bond graph notion was developed to overcome significant limitations in the standard bond graph notation for modeling systems described by vector and tensor-valued quantities. A brief introduction to this extended notation is given including the definition of a set of primitive extended elements and a discussion of extended power and energy concepts.
