Abstract The urinary organic acids of a new case of 3‐hydroxy‐3‐methylglutaryl‐CoA lyase deficiency have been analysed by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry. This patient's fibroblasts showed a reduced ability to oxidize leucine.
