Abstract The cover picture shows the result of the electrochemical oxidation of a square‐planar nickel(II) complex. The oxidation state of the metal remains largely unchanged, and the phenoxy ligand is oxidized to the depicted radical cation. Details are discussed in the Short Communication by J. Reedijk et al. on p. 637 ff.
