Heterogeneity and pleiotropism in the Moebius syndrome

Abstract

Three families affected by Moebius syndrome are described. The difference in patterns of inheritance and the variability in phenotype encountered in these families suggest that there is considerable heterogeneity and pleiotropism in this disorder.
