Downstaging colorectal liver metastases by concomitant unilateral portal vein ligation and selective intra-arterial chemotherapy

Abstract

Combined unilateral portal vein ligation and selective intrahepatic arterial chemotherapy produced substantial atrophy of the ipsilateral hemiliver along with contralateral hypertrophy, without increased tumour growth in the regenerating hemiliver.
