Ethylene polymerization was carried out with a novel in-situ-supported metallocene catalyst that eliminates the need for a supporting step before polymerization. The influence of the metallocene amount, aluminum to zirconium mole ratio, temperature, pressure, and cocatalyst type on polymerization kinetics and molecular weight distribution of the produced polyethylene was studied. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
