Ruptured degenerated uterine fibroid diagnosed by imaging

Abstract

This is a report of a ruptured degenerated fibroid causing acute abdomen outside of pregnancy. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging aided in correctly establishing the diagnosis and optimizing the management of this patient.
